![]() ![]() However, to achieve this i had to go into Nvidia control panel and manually adjust some application graphics override settings. With a render distance of 12, graphics settings set to medium/high, and a few graphics enhancing mods, ive managed to get a constant, stable, and smooth 75-110fps. Having been able to cram about 150 mods in to it so far, Im quite satisfied with the games performance (Crafttweaker & configs are your best friends here). That being said, the modpack ive built has almost everything i want in it. ![]() With AA and AF off, same settings as above, with ANY shader enabled, my fps drops to the same 80-110fps (possibly due to shaders forcing AA/AF?). With either or both of AA or AF enabled, min or max, my fps would drop to 80-110fps. With AA and AF off, a render distance of 20, fancy graphics, mipmap levels/type maxed, and most everything else at high or max, i was seeing 250-350fps (depending on environment and altitude). This puts extra strain on anything game running on this monitor. It is worth noting i have a 2560x1080p (ultrawide) 75hz monitor. The number one killer of fps, that i found, was antialiasing and anisotropic filtering. During the beginning of the modpack creation, i went through just about every forge/optifine/foamfix/betterfps/phosphor/vanilla option and config that i could find that has an impact on fps. I recently have built a custom modpack (MC v1.12.2), and it is currently in a closed late alpha state. Know its been some time since i last posted here, but i want to share some findings (for anyone googling this stupid common issue).
